Question What age was Lewis Mocker when he begun trading Forex?

Answer 17

Question How much did Lewis begin trading with?

Answer $5,000 (AUD)

Commentary Lewis claimed on 19 May 2014, via his Infinite Prosperity Facebook site to have

apparently started trading Forex at age 17 with $5,000 and soon after profiting it up to $13,000 in a balance. His success was so profound that other people started wanting to invest with him – and he sourced around $130,000 from at least one other person to start trading with ‘other peoples money’ (OPM).

Lewis and Amy teach to use FXCM as the broker. FXCM do not allow for anyone under the age of 18 to trade or open an account with them.

So we have some questions here:

  1. Did Lewis open a FXCM account at age 17?
  2. If so, did he lie? If so, would he consider himself a liar?
  3. Does he have proof of the $130,000 being invested with him?
  4. Can he show this proof?

At this stage without answers and proof from Lewis, we can only deduce that he either opened an account at age 17 with a broker who allows under 18 year olds to trade, or he had to embellish the truth (yes – that’s right – lie) to open an account. In my school of thought, to tell a lie, makes you a liar, and if you tell a lie to benefit yourself, i.e. manipulate something to your benefit at the expense of another entity/person – then that would be what could be considered selfish, greedy, and manipulative.

I’d like to clear these early stage questions up – where Lewis begun his trading career. We can’t go back and change the past – but establishing the past is important as we evaluate the progress Lewis has made since then. Unless Lewis is prepared to provide proof for the above remaining questions,  we have to ask if he is a liar on all counts? It seems to be easy for him only to clear up this question by providing proof.

As I’ve not been able to find any broker that Lewis refers to that would allow a 17 year old to trade, it is looking as though he opened an account against terms and conditions he would have signed away. This is not a good start as it demonstrates an ability, awareness, and desire to manipulate a system and potentially places everything he has done since then into question.

Mocker – over to you.
